Purchased a printer driven cash drawer and will not open upon completing a cash sale.

Print-driven cash drawer will not open. Printer works fine, no test or cash transaction will make the drawer open automatically

@Chesapeakecharn This may seem silly, but try switching the cord around that goes from the printer to the cash drawer.  The cord is directional and if you plug the wrong end into the drawer and not the printer it will not work.
