Products Not Showing in correct catogrie but in shop all

Hi I have a issue on Sunday I was uploading some products to a catogrie and the products were showing on shop all but not in the correct catogries. 

 

I have checked back end and it is visible all correct Information there and it is also showing as the item in the catogrie I'm confused something seems to have gone wrong. 

 

Please help or any suggestions

Hi there @Hoteverything 👋 thanks for flagging this! 

 

Were you adding items from your Square Dashboard or within the Square Online site editor? If you added them from the site editor it might explain what has happened. 

 

The ability to change the item order within a category or category page has now shifted to the Dashboard. So, if you need to add, edit, or reorder items in a category, doing so in the Square Dashboard should sync those changes to your Square Online site editor.

 

If you could share the steps you took and let me know if this sounds like the edits you were making, I’d be happy to investigate further. Feel free to provide a link to your site and some examples for reference also.

Mi have tried uploading from dashboard and the online. 

 

For example 

Hey thank you for your reply I have done this and uploaded a test item .

 

If I click shop all it's there .but not in the catogrie it should be. 

 

In the back end it shows its in the catogrie but it not showing so annoying

Click shop all your see it at the top if u click newest it should be in sale it's not there

I also seem to be having trouble with this. Particularly with items that are in more than one category, eg product type category and brand category. Seems to have become more troublesome since Square moved the website categories and combines with the categories in the till system. Having terrible trouble and losing sales currently. Luckily I have a small base of customers that call me up if trying to buy something online and something isn't working to alert me to these things. I daren't even think how many potential customers can't find something so move on and buy elsewhere. 😞 

I've also found that the sort drop down doesn't show all items when set to featured, which it seems to do automatically (I can't find a way to change the default on this), but things show up if you change to newest or by price. I've had to switch off this feature for now as it was hiding many products in a category unless you happened to change this.
