Printer for my terminal won’t print on the paper.

I have a square terminal in my store. It is not a portable unit.   The receipt printer is a separate piece attached to my terminal.  I changed the paper and now a receipt won’t print. I’ve flipped the paper roll several times and it feeds out the paper when I ask for a recipe, but nothing is printed. Please help. Thank you

Usually this means that the paper is the wrong type for that printer. I'm guessing the printer you have is a thermal printer, but the paper you have is bond paper (which works with impact printers).

What's the model of the printer? Does the paper feel glossy or is it matte? When you scratch the paper does it leave a light black mark?
