How do you update your product catalogue after the initial Big Commerce import

I did an initial import of my items from bigcommerce and since then various products have been added and changed on the website but the feed has not updated the catalogue on the Square POS. Does anyone know how to force an update through? In BigCommerce it says the sync is active and the last time it was done was this month, but the catalogue is completely wrong on the POS terminal, which I don't understand.  I have tried to find a way to force the feeds to update but the only options I can find are to download the catalogue, make changes and then upload again - but surely if there is already a link/sync between BigCommerce and Square I shouldn't have to do this so manually? Help please! 🙂
