Apparently, I had to sign up in order to fully understand pricing for my business and when I asked questions to Support, they directed me here.  Not a good start.

I am looking for a POS software for a wine tasting room and bottle shop that occasionally hosts events. I need a handheld POS terminal, inventory management, the ability to sell individual bottles as well as break down a bottle of wine for glass pours and tastings. I also want to charge for tickets to events and limit the number of tickets sold.
Can anyone help answer the following questions:

• What version of the software do I need to accomplish the above?
• Can I sell tickets to an event directly through Square or do I need a 3rd party app?
• If I can sell tickets through Square, how much does that version of the software cost?
• What version of the software will track my inventory, including breaking down bottles for glass pours and tastings?
• Does Square integrate with QBO?
• If so, will the inventory info transfer too or just financial info?

• What version of the software do I need to accomplish the above?
  • At this time, Square doesn't offer the ability to reduce inventory from an item besides the item sold. In this case, we are unable to quantify the number of glasses of wine in a bottle. 
• Can I sell tickets to an event directly through Square, or do I need a 3rd party app?
  • You can sell Digital Items(such as tickets for events) and set a limit on how many tickets can be sold. However, these tickets would not be numbered (would not work for assigned seating)
• If I can sell tickets through Square, how much does that version of the software cost?
  • Digital Item sales are available in the Free tier of Square Point of Sale
• What version of the software will track my inventory, including breaking down bottles for glass pours and tastings?
  • The best option for tracking Inventory available in Square is Square for Retail Plus ($89 per month, per location)
• Does Square integrate with QBO?
• If so, will the inventory info transfer too, or just financial info?
  • Yes, Square does offer a QuickBooks Online integration. However, based on QuickBooks' documentation, inventory data doesn't sync - only financial information transfers. I'd recommend reaching out to QuickBooks directly to confirm current integration capabilities, as these features can evolve.
