POS sales report not working with ipads running iOS 18.5

Since Tuesday 6/24/25, when 2 of our staff run their sales report at the end of the day from the POS app, the report has all zeros for each item. We cannot figure out what is going on - spent endless hours on the phone with square. I have deleted and reinstalled the app. Powered off the

ipads. Is anyone else having this problem? Can anyone help? Screen shot to show what it looks like. Transactions show the sales are there.

Hello @mbtyson and welcome to the Square Community! I noticed this was your first post. My name is Violet and I'm one of the Square Community Moderators 🙂 I'd be happy to look into this with you so your staff can view accurate reports.

It seems like this could be related to their assigned permission set(s). I recommend double-checking to make sure that the permission set they've been assigned allows them access to view detailed sales reporting, as shown in the screenshot below.

Additionally, make sure these staff members are logging in using their assigned passcode. This will allow the system to recognize them and their assigned permission set to make sure they get the correct access to the account and permitted settings.

If they're still having trouble after that, please let me know and I can assist further. I'll keep an eye out for your reply!

Thank you for your response Violet.

1. I checked all 5 of our barbers assigned permissions and they were all set up as you note above.

2. They all also use their 4 digit passcode to sign in.

3. On Thursday evening a 3rd barber starting having this same issue. A report with all zeros.

4. Everyone uses their own ipad at their own station.

Any other suggestions for us? We are at the point of extreme frustration.
