Hello, I have a question, I have a food truck and have food items online for pickup and I am trying to add Notes / Special Instruction's to my items online under the modifier options, I see this modifier is not available on the Square POS app, but when I add these to all my online items in a few days it gets removed from the item and I have to re-add them again, What is causing this problem and how can I fix it.

Sorry for the trouble, I've never heard of this happening and would like to dig a bit more. Are there any example items this happens with? I'd love to grab some more info so I can have our Weebly Team take a look and pinpoint the root issue.

its any of my food items, some will remove the note modifier while some will stay, its just completely random, it can be in the same category or in a different category. I just checked again and 2 of my 12 items are now missing the note modifier, its just becoming a hassle to keep adding them.

Is it only the text input modifier that you see missing from the POS app? Those won't show since text input modifiers are only supported within Square Online Stores itself. If you back to your Square Online Store and check the item there, is the text input modifier still assigned to the item?
Correct the text modifier is not on the POS app, Its only for the online site. Sometimes its still active on the online item and sometimes its not and I have to re-add it again. Not sure why only some items are effected and not all of them are at once. For example today only 1 of my items was missing the Note section out of 12 items, I had to add it again
That is pretty strange! Are you editing and saving the item through the POS app? I could see where editing and saving the item through the POS app would cause the text input modifier to get lost.
Yes I am editing items such as price using the POS app, I rarely use the online site to do anything unless I cant do it with the POS app. So I think I get what your saying, Its because the app don't have the modifier so when I save a change in the app it only saves the modifiers is has active on the app and gets rid of the notes on the online side. Never thought of that. I will try this out for a few days and will get back to you. Great idea thanks
