Why aren't my tax settings being applied to the shopping cart?

My tax rate is right but it's not being added to the shopping cart price???? the box to include it in the price is unchecked.. so whats up how do I get taxes on my shopping cart?

Thanks for posting in the Seller Community. 

 

Sorry to hear that your tax settings aren't reflecting properly. Is this occurring using our Square app or the Square Online Store? 

 

In addition, when you select Apply to Items in the Online Dashboard under Items, is the tax applied to the appropriate items?

I’m at online square up store. I followed your instructions applied it to items and still no change in check out cart. The tax is not showing up? It has not been applied?

For Square Online Store, take a look here to confirm your tax settings and rules are correct.

 

Once you've confirmed those settings, please try to do a test transaction on your site. Let me know how that goes!
