Hi All, I received emails from Square about the new check out experience and that all accounts will be upgraded on November 8.
I talked to someone by phone earlier but wanted to clarify.
We are using an iPad 4th generation and IOS 10.3.3 with Square version 5.49.1.
The question is will our current Square application cease to operate on November 8 or will we still be able to take payments?

HI, thank you for the link. At the bottom under FAQs, iOS 13 or below will not be able to upgrade and be restricted to Square v6.2. If you have a product that is unable to upgrade to iOS 14, then you need to purchase a new product to access the new upgrade and any further upgrades in the future.
HI, is there a link for more information? or is there small print at the bottom? It should state what/how it will affect you.

I couldn't seem to find other then once you upgrade to the new checkout experience, one can't revert back to a previous version.

@GoldThanks so much and I also chatted with Square support and they said that after November 8 you may start to experience system issues if it is not updated and since it will no longer be available we will not be able to support you.
I've order an iPad 9th Generation which should last us a good long time.
