I live in canada and have Square account in Canada. I need to open square account in US for US payments I receive and have it deposited in US bank account (I have bank accounts in US) Every time I click on US site, ultimately it takes me to Canadian account. I want to delete my Canadian Square account (I am not using it anymore) or open new account for US transactions. How can I do any of these? Square customer service is not any useful.

I'm sorry to hear you're having some difficulty getting started. Sometimes, your browser might re-direct you to the website matching the location you're in, e.g Canada. A way around this is to use a private browser window. You'll need to use a new email address to create an account, as an email address can't be associated with more than one Square account - even if you were to delete your Canadian account. You'll also need the following information:
- Your full legal name
- A Social Security number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)
- US home mailing address
If you skip or leave the identity verification flow, we'll send you an email to request any additional information we require to activate your account.
