Need access to items with multiple categories

Is there a way to assign items to multiple parent categories and or Subcategorys?   My board wants reports to show items by ACTIVITY (ie Solstice Event, Concert, Recordings, Projects...) as Parent Categories.

And

Subcategories by product type - Merchandise, Donations, Tickets, Recording Fees

Parent Category/Subcategory; items

Activity #1

Solstice Event/Merchandise; T-Shirt, Hat, CD

Solstice Event/Tickets w/ several price points

Activity #2

TANK Recordings/Merchandise; T-Shirt, Hat, CD

TANK Recordings/Fees w/several price points

At this time item Sub Categories are not available on Square Point of Sale. This is a highly requested feature request and I would like to invite you to share your voice on this post where other Sellers are requesting this as well.
