Hi @doctxmac. Iโve been using Square for over a decade now. And until this week, Iโve never seen this question pop up in the community. Yours is the second time this week. I had always assumed that there was a way to create team members who did not use POS or get access. I was wrong, it seems. In my case, it didnโt matter because Iโve always trusted my employees and theyโve never given me reason to distrust them. But, yes, I know Iโm very lucky and that puts me in a minority of business owners. Anywayโฆ.
Currently, this is just not possible. After the last question about this came up, I submitted this feature request for consideration. Unfortunately, feature requests take time to review and design and implement, so there will be no quick solution here. I recommended to the other seller that they have all employees clock in and out using the Square Team app. Then, if they (or anyone) sees employees who shouldnโt be on a POS using one, that should be a red flag to you that this employee is probably up to no good. Thatโs the best workaround I can give you for now, though.
