Items randomly not printing in kitchen printer

In the past month we had 3 orders randomly not print in the kitchen. Order was placed but kitchen never received the order. this happened 3 times in the last 30 days. Different ipads different items. All settings are correct as far as category to print to kitchen and all ipads are updated.  Has anyone experienced items randomly not printing to kitchen?

Hmm @shmc that's odd. Have you tried these printer troubleshooting steps and all of the Point of Sale app troubleshooting steps too?  

 

If the issue persists make a note of the time, date and item that didn't print and then call our CS team. They'll be able to escalate this to an engineer for further investigation if needed.

I have a new fiber internet set-up and am using 2 ipads and a kitchen printer (TS700). The POS are working great and say they are connected to the kitchen printer but the printer is not printing. The printer is plugged into the router with an Ethernet cable and is running on the same network as the ipads but no printing. It is not picking up any orders and I am at a loss as to what to do. I have rebooted the printer, unplugged and plugged back in, etc.  The ipads say that it is connected to it but nothing. Help please!

Hey there @DHBakehouse! Interesting that your iPads recognize the printer but nothing is printing.

 

This might sound silly, but have you ensured the receipt paper roll positioned correctly? Are you able to feed paper by hitting the feed button? Are there any error lights flashing on your printer? 

 

Also take a stab at the troubleshooting linked in this thread.
