Is there a way to assign an item in the sale to an employee?

I need to assign different employees to items in the same sale (paid in the 1 bill/receipt).

This is a fairly basic thing and essential to many industries, so can someone tell me how it’s done? 

I have employee management on with unique 4 digit codes for each employee.

While we don't currently provide a way to split items on a single sale among different staff members, I can see how that would be very handy in many retail situations.
