Is it possible to take customers credit card details as security for our Airbnb?

Does anyone know if its possible to take our Airbnb guests credit card details for security for their stay?

You can save card details on file to a customer directory contact as per the instructions at the bottom of this support page.

I have the same question, except rather than just have the customers card details on file, I'd actually like to place a 'Hold' on the amount of the Security Deposit.

Then release it after the guests leave.

Is this possible?

Currently, Square doesn’t offer support for pre-authorising cards or collecting security deposits. I’ve shared your suggestion with our product team so they can look into it for the future.
