Is it possible to create a second "Non physical > Digital" fulfillment category?

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Creating a second "Non physical > Digital" fulfillment category.

Hello.

 

We are selling software from different companies. Some software can be sold worldwide, whilst other software can only be sold in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

 

Is there any way to have a second "Non physical > Digital" fulfillment category in order to achieve this?

Currently, it's not possible to create an additional fulfillment method specifically for Digital items. However, you could use the Other item type for your software that can only be sold in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. This approach would allow you to manage software availability, offering some globally and others in select locations.

Here's how to set it up:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Account & Settings > Fulfillment > Non-physical and configure the selected countries for the Other item type.
  2. Go to Items & Orders > Items > Item Library. Use the checkbox selector to choose the items you need to update, then click the blue Edit Items button in the bottom-right corner.
  3. On the bulk edit items page, click Attributes and select Item Type.
  4. Change the item type for these items to Other and click Save.
