I am trying to download my item library but apparently I can't do this because I only have a monthly subscription - is this true?

You can absolutely download your item library — having a monthly subscription doesn’t restrict this feature. You should be able to export your item library directly from your Square Dashboard by following these steps:
1. Sign in to your Square Dashboard.
2. Go to Items > Item Library.
3. Click the “Actions” drop-down (top right).
4. Select “Export Library” — this will download a CSV file of your items.
