Invoice Items not reflecting Sales Price

How do I get my invoices to reflect line item sales pricing?

I do not want to use the discount field at the bottom because I need the client to know which (of the multiple various) items they're getting at a discount.

I see it visible on my website but cannot see it reflected on my created invoice.

@TheForYouShoppe There is currently some consolidation going on with the online catalog versus the dashboard as the teams at square move to make a more unified experience.

This is one of the limitations that was part of the way the online would work versus the point of sale.  Invoices feeds from the point of sale not the online world so to speak.

What you can do is set up an automatic discount tied to a specific dining option say "Invoiced Client" and then the discount would match your online sales price.

The way to do it is to use the point of sale and ring in the ticket and then bill it to an invoice.  You can save the invoice as a draft (invoice will be a payment type) and then you can edit the invoice how you see fit.

I know this is a brief overview, but if you have questions about specific steps or want to add some info on your use case, I will try to give more detailed advice.

The other way to do it

Thanks!  The "Automatic Discount" suggestion & ringing up via the Retail POS still, unfortunately, bundles one total discount at the bottom & doesn't show it on the line items, however your advice got me to the solution I wanted:

Turns out in the Retail POS App, you can "Adjust Item Price" (with option of a line-item note too!).  This way will show the line item "Original Price"  and "Adjusted Price" for each line.  This is exactly what I'm looking for, thank you for your guided help! 🙂

Thank you for letting me know!  I will file this away in my ADHD knowledge brain and that helps me knowing the fix!  Cheers.
