I received an email stating they were going to debit $679.55 from my account.

We did not buy anything on a square or anything for that amount.  The email it came from was ([email protected])  It has all the square information at the bottom (address, ect.)  But when I try to push the view withdraw button, it doesn't work.  It says to visit my dashboard to see detailed description of the charge, but I don't have anything.  Is it possible for someone to debit the funds ?  Thank you.

Hi @barhfab,

This is likely a phishing/spam email in an attempt to acquire information from you if you do not know the vendor and have not purchased anything (a bit hard to tell without seeing the actual email). They cannot just debit from your account. Make sure if you are logging into the Square Dashboard that you do it from squareup.com and no any other domain. Keep an eye on your statements to make sure nothing looks fraudulent. If you did enter your account details somewhere else, it would be best to change your password to protect yourself.
