How to track stock with varying sources

Hello, 

I have some items that I hold stock of, and some that are made to order --- it's important that items are available for customers to order whether in stock or not --- it just alters the delivery time ... what is the best way to handle this? 

I currently track all stock using a spreadsheet but would really like to manage it using Square and my Weebly site, rather than the spreadsheet.

Hi @GraysBespoke, thanks for your post! 

Square’s inventory management gives you tools to keep a clear count of in-stock items in your item library. 

For the items that you do keep stock of, you would be able to turn on stock tracking for them which would provide you a wide vary of reports which you would be able to pull up from it, such as Item sales & Category sales. 

For the pre-order stock, reporting is little more complicated because they would need to not have stock tracking turned on. This maybe something you'll need to continue marking off manually. I'm going to check this one with the team and come back to you when I have a more concrete idea of the best way to work this for you!
