How to revert back to old payment change screen.

our system just updated to the 

Version 6.76.1sw last night. The checkout screen where is shows you change due- is tiny and at the very top of the screen. How do we revert back to the check out screen before this update?

Hi there @Terif1159.. It is not possible to revert to a previous release of any Square POS.  Here's a link to a post where @Sammie_C explained how to enable an accessibility feature to magnify it as needed using an OS feature.  That's as good as it's going to get until this is fixed in a future release.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to post this. I agree with the observation you have shared. Change is way too small!

 

Additionally, the option to print a hard-copy of an automated email receipt on the final screen would be appreciated.

+1 to this. In addition to the change and checkout screen being more unhelpful to both customer and employee, we have found that the item select screen now shows “…” for most items at the top of the item add to order screen pop up when you select one. Why have the item names disappeared?

This latest update changed font size to make everything smaller, in bold, and unreadable. 

 

This was a terrible design change that didn’t take into account user experience.

I would also like to see the change screen stay up longer. We print receipts and have to revert to them for the change.

just commenting to say I agree. font is way too small. I noticed it this morning myself and almost missed the change amount due.

 I would like to add to this thread, hoping someone can update on this "feature request" to fix what was not broken and revert the font and box size back to the larger, READABLE size. Tip screen is horrendous, looks ridiculous, change amount is microscopic and it's stressing out my young employees about giving incorrect change due to the size being so hard to read.  Their tips are way down and it's a cause for concern for them, enough to seek employment elsewhere. PLEASE FIX THIS

I just gave the wrong change because of this, good thing we have honest customers. Please fix this very easy to give the wrong change when a rush comes in.

I posted about this about a month ago and have heard nothing back. Black Friday is coming and its going to be terrible when its that busy to squint to see how much change to give back to the customer. Square gets an "F" for this. GET IT FIXED BEFORE BLACK FRIDAY!

It changes locations too.  It starts top center, then while you are gathering the bills it jumps down and to the left side of the screen, the original spot now show what they were charged.. So when I look back up for change in the same location I accidentally grab that cent amount for the change nearly every time.  I only catch it when I count back the change and fix it.  But it happens nearly every time.
