How do I make the time zone on an Event item default to HST?

Right now when I create a new item of type EVENT it comes up as Pacific Time. This is not my timezone, where can I change that so it is created with my timezone by default? I know it's not hard to adjust it, but it's annoying to do that every time. I run lots of events 🙂

Hey! I totally get how annoying that is — especially if you’re running a bunch of events.

You can fix it by going into your Square Dashboard → Appointments → Settings → Calendar & Booking. From there, make sure to select “Lock booking timezone to business location timezone.” That way, it won’t keep defaulting to Pacific Time every time you make a new event. 🙃

Firstly, could you please confirm whether you're creating the event through Square Appointments or your Square Online Store?

I'm not using Appointments. Just using the regular Square Item Store and setting visibility to online. 

 

Square Dashboard → Appointments → Settings → Calendar & Booking -> “Lock booking timezone to business location timezone.” is already set
