How can i set up a different company with different bank accounts. We have 2 businesses

We have 2 businesses and want to keep sales totally separate. How can I do that?

Great news! Square offers tools designed for businesses of all sizes. Take advantage of our free multi-location management features, including linked locations and transfer options. You can also add individual bank accounts or tags to differentiate transfers seamlessly.

 

When you sign up, your account automatically generates your first location. You cannot undo creating a location.

 

To create a new location:

 

  1. Sign in to your Square Dashboard and select Settings > Account & Settings > Business Information > Locations.

  2. Select Create Location.

  3. Choose a Location business name and nickname for your location. The Location business name appears on your customers’ card statements and digital receipts.

  4. Enter a brief description about your business.

  5. Enter your address and postal code.

  6. Enter your location’s email address and phone number.

  7. For Branding, add a logo by selecting + Upload Logo.

  8. Select the bank account to use for transfers.

  9. Select the language for this location. The language you choose for this location is used in Square emails and customer receipts.

  10. If you want to match the item library from another location, select the location to match from the drop-down menu.

  11. Select Save.
