Help all swipes are being declined

hello! I am hopeful I will be able to find an answer here! I have been using square for my business for several months. My reader has always accepted payments with iut issues, but every time I swipe to accept payment, k keep getting the  Declined transaction. Please use a different card. Is this an issue with my reader or is it a problem with my account? Customer definitely has the money on card to pay. So it shouldn’t be being declined. Is it possible it is thst my square reader needs to be updated or something

I would reach out to the support line for this. It’s not something that I have had happen with multiple cards. But I have had a customer that had their card locked/blocked and had to unlock it before it could be used, but it’s unlikely that would be with multiple cards. It sounds like if you are getting a decline message the card is being processed but not approved by the customers bank.
