Generating barcode

Does Square generate barcodes. I have SKUs entered on each item. I just bought a scanner (Amazon) and POS square. I want to print barcodes.

Square for Retail can create SKU's for items that you can print on price tag labels.  You need Square for Retail Plus to print them.

The problem you may have is you Amazon Scanner may not be compatible with Square.  If you have your Square system and the Scanner you can test it with products that already have a barcode on them.  You will get a message Item not Found would you like to create it now.  I have done that for testing with soda cans, and other items I do not sell in store.  I had a Terra scanner and it is not compatible with Square, got a message right when I plugged the USB into my Square Stands Hub..... nothing scanned.  The scanner does work with Chromebooks and computers just not with Square.

You need a scanner that is listed on Squares Hardware list and is compatible with the device your using.
