QR code is showing incorrect location before loading website

IMG_2870.jpgHi,

So I have 2 restaurants on Square, and when a QR code is used to find my website, there is a quick interim page that shows the the viewer they are being directed.  I remember when I first signed up for the website, I name the website using a specific location because I was under the incorrect assumption that I needed to create 2 websites- one for each store.

Obviously this is incorrect, but unfortunatley, now this interim page is displaying the intial name that was used for the set up and I can't seem to change this.

Does this make sense?  Is there anyway to edit this or do I have to start a new website?  I hope not!  Thank you!

Depending on how you fixed the names from going to the one location to the main page this could be why.  The old name is being redirected to the correct site now.   When you take a barcode reader to the QR code what does it show?  I have a Barcode reader on my cell, and when I scan the QR code it pops up a message it found this QR code.  Then I can read what the www address is.   If you do this is it showing your website that you want it to go to?

Also how did you make the QR code?  The information for your website did you type it in or did you let software create it for you?

Try going to a Free QR generator, put in your new websites www for example have it create a QR code and see if it does the same thing.  I just did the one below at : https://www.qrcode-monkey.com/

Now I am not sure if this is your site or not but this takes me right to a site with no prior pop up.
