Feedback and recommendations for Square for a small takeaway shop..

We have small takeaway shop and are looking to get the Square. Just wondering if anyone else is currently using the Square and the Square Restaurant or is there a smaller specific version for Takeaways?

We don't have a POS specifically for takeaway, however either our free Point of Sale or Square for Restaurants should fit the bill here.

I'd encourage you to start by trying out the POS app and seeing if it fits the bill - it's used by plenty of takeaway shops! Did you have any specific features you were looking for?

I have a small town country pub, and my food offering would be similar.  I have also seen it used at fish and chip shops quite well.  

It would require hooking it up with a printer in my opinion to get full use.  But for taking orders, and having a docket print, and have options such as sides and dietary etc, Square can be tops.  

Bit of work, but worth it.
