Square claims that you can get a better processing rate with them if you have over 250k in sales per year. We've been over that threshhold since we opened our retail bakery/cafe (over 8 months). I have contacted square eight different times (whether by phone call or their instant messaging system) and every time they say they can discuss custom processing rates with us but that they have to forward the matter to their escalation team and someone will reach out. Over the eight times, no one ever reaches out. Is this everyone else's experience as well? This type of problem makes me want to consider their competitors, although switching would be a pain in the rear.
I'm starting to think they just claim they'll have the escalation team reach out, hoping you'll forget about it and be too busy to follow up.

It's been another week - no one has contacted. I've loved using square so far but this has made me open to other competitors more than any other feature so far.
