Custom Discounts per Customer

Hi, I am attempting to create a custom discount for each of my customers that will automatically apply to a specific customer's profile every time they are added to an invoice or transaction. Is this possible? 

Our clients pay whatever they are able to for our organization so they will always be different per Customer and we do not want to have to look up the discount they received last time, each time. Any ideas?

That is a great idea, unfortunately, I can't think of a way that it can be auto-added.  The only thing I can come up with is adding a note to a customer and either in the customer name add  "10" or "20" to the end for their discount or add it in the notes field, but it would not be automatic.
