We are trying to collect customer emails for our email list.
I understand you can collect subscribers on your POS (ask customers to opt-in), but don't see the options to do this in the Square for Restaurants POS. Is it there possible? Not sure why it wouldn't be an option if it is possible in the other POS programs Square offers.

There are a couple of ways you can collect customers' email from the Restaurant POS:
When collecting customer information
You can enable the collection of customer information on your device from your Dashboard:
Once these settings are saved, log in to your device (you might have to restart it to force the edits):
Email collection screen (only available on iPad)
If you use Square Restaurant on an iPad, follow the steps above to enable the email collection screen from your device profile settings. Once set up, your customers will be prompted to add their email address after completing their payments.
External Signage
Finally, you're able to print in-store signage or a QR code to display it at your till. From your Dashboard, access the Marketing tab then click on Settings.
