Tried to login to dashboard on PC using chrome for many days but login continually failed despite clearing cookies (many times) going through all the privacy and security options trying all different configurations. No more hair left so no need for the barbers any more!!!
Suddenly found that I can only login when using incognito mode.
What is going on here and how do I fix it so I don't have to be in incognito mode.
Hi @LollieLane,
Thanks for writing in and sorry to hear about the trouble signing into your Dashboard. Thank you for giving troubleshooting your browser settings a go already, this is usually the first thing we suggest!
Do you have any Chrome extensions installed that block pop-ups? Are there any outstanding updates on your browser, or computer? And, if you haven't already cleared your cache, give this a try, too:
Please let us know how you go!
Essentially had gone through all the chrome settings, including those that you mentioned apart from the one extension, that I did not remove, which was my password manager. I now removed it and I find I can login to my dashboard.
Don't know what has changed over the past month as I was previously able to login while my password manager extension was loaded, but now it appears that I cannot have my password manager active if I want to login to my Dashboard.
Any ideas on why?
Some third-party extensions may be read as unsafe, or unapproved which would, in turn, means you can't sign in securely @LollieLane. Chrome's inbuilt password manager, however, shouldn't impact the sign-in experience - I'm using it right now, for example.
