Trying to run our item sales for the past year and as in years past, it fails. I've called about this in the past to support, with no result, just a workaround. I have to break it down into smaller date ranges in order to get results, then combine the data, etc. Is there any way to just make this report work for a year date range?

Ok @page158 when I cleared my cache and history it does seem to be working for me now. Can we try that?
Same error, tried in Chrome and Safari browsers.
What date range do you have selected?
the same as before, "this year". I can run 6 months at a time with no problem.
Thank you for all your patience! This is currently a known limitation right now within our system. The issue is occurring due to a large amount of data, the workaround would be to load the data in a smaller time period. I am sorry I know this is not ideal at all! Our team is working to resolve the issue but for now, this will have to be a workaround. I appreciate all your patience and understanding! 🙏

Just to follow up on this for anyone else that experiences this issue, engineering said "there's too much data" to run at one time and that they'd submit an enhancement request but that it might be a long time before it's fixed. We sold 36,162 items last year for reference.

Are you able to download your Item Sales report for last year via CSV? It may take a bit to download with all the info considered.
Hi,
No, the report has to load before it can be downloaded, unless you know of some other way to get at it. Ultimately, all I want to do is download the CSV, seeing it on a screen isn't helpful. It would be wonderful if there was a way to just generate a report that could be emailed or downloaded without loading it to the screen.
And I'm really surprised that 36k items sold is considered a large amount of data, I'm sure other Square users sell that much and more, can no one run a years item sales report?
@page158 - Completely agree with you. There should be a faster way to view this report. At this time, this is the only way to download and print a yearly Item Sales report. When this product gets updated we will make sure to notify you. We appreciate your time and reply.
