Checkout links: No taxes are applied (VAT)

Hi,

I have created a checkout link for a product we are selling, but the VAT is not applied to the total. This is what i can see in the order summary (checkout page):

Subtotal

£25.00

Shipping

£4.20

Taxes

£0.00

Order total

£29.20

The VAT tax was created in the "sales taxes" page and then linked to the item; therefore i am not sure why it is not being applied at checkout.

How can i solve this issue?

Hi @Zircon, I can definitely help out here!

To make sure that taxes are applied at checkout when customers pay using the Checkout Link, please check that axes are setup for Checkout Links in Online > Settings > Sales Taxes. This is because the tax settings do not sync between the Square Dashboard and the Checkout Links settings.
