HI, your Site Categories can be edited on the Online Dashboard.

Online Dashboard, Items, Site Categories

I can utilize that portion, and create new categories from there, however even when doing so, i cannot add it to my page. i can create new categories, but the link is broken. it wont let me interact with it on the site builder. the "shop all" link has turned into a "lets go" link that doesnt do anything.

thanks for the suggestion

Were you able to figure this out yet? I'm having the same issue.

The best workaround I've found so far is to add a section to a standard page called "Featured Categories" and then it allows you to get to them, but it isn't its own stand alone Standard Page.

Same, in Square Online, Items, Shop Categories I can add categories and subcategories and assign items to each, but then when I go to Edit Website it lists my standard pages, and my item pages, but it won't let me click to the categories I created. It's like there are no category pages available for the website, even though I created them in Square Online.

My end goal... On my website I have a standard page named "Cookies" which is an info page - I also have an item category named Cookies, that has no items in it. This is because I have all my cookies divided into subcategories.  While I can from my standard Cookies webpage add a section called "Featured Categories" and link to my subcategories from there I can't have a direct/stand alone category page. I'd like to get back the navigation drop down menu off the standard page to shop items in my cookie subcategories.

This is a major issue for me...my shop all page is gone, all my categories, and I can't get them back. Not only that, I cannot create any new links to existing category pages. I have general pages that have links to category pages. If I create a new button or image link, category link is not a link type that shows up when configuring the button/image. Existing pages that were created BEFORE the shop all and category pages were deleted still exist and work. My workaround has been to duplicate the general page, and re-use the link content, configuring the link to a new category (yuck!).

Anyone have any success fixing this? I'm calling customer support to see if they can add them back on the back end.

Have you tried creating a shop all page again?  That fixed the issue for me.  Hope that helps

Yes, that's what did it for me too. I called the Square Online support folks, who helped me figure that out. They're great.

I'm having the same issue.   I tried to delete categories but they kept showing up on the actual site.  Then I messed up and deleted the category page.  What is the number for the online support please?
