Cash Transaction Rounding to eliminate penny

Has anyone been able to implement cash rounding on cash transactions to eliminate the penny?

Responding to this to hopefully get Square to implement some kind of functionality to allow for rounding.

I really don't want to spend my free time reworking every single item price to round with tax to the nearest nickel and it still sometimes be off.

Hoping there would be a setting that we could toggle to allow for automatic rounding.

They are testing the new rounding software right now.  I think I saw its in testing for a few months?

It's still in pilot and I know I was never invited. Wondering how to join or when the full rollout is?

If it is still in testing then they don't have it...yet. Hopefully soon since pennies are a thing of the past.

Yes, this Early Access Features thing worked for me. But I had to use the Square website on the computer and go find that setting, not on my POS device(regardless of the updated version). Took me a while to figure that one out.

It was seamless for us!

I trained my staff on what to do and they were able to adjust right away.

We do have some customers that are resistant but we have a "just in case" penny supply if a customer doesn't like how it's rounded!

I was concerned at first but the transition was seamless. We haven't had any issues.
