Can't connect my Google Workspace email to my domain

Hello,

 

I'm having trouble connecting my Google Workspace admin email to my domain. I registered my domain with Square, may have begun the process of setting up email through Square but for whatever reason paused the process.

 

My dashboard shows this message when I log in: "Your domain [domainname.com] requires email verification. Verify your email address to prevent service disruption". I didn't receive and can't find a verification email from when I set up my domain in my primary email account, and when I click 'Resend verification email' it says that 'An error has occurred, please try again later'. So that's the first potential reason!

 

Secondly, I've set up an admin email account with Google Workspace (separately from Square) on my domain. As per Square's guide, I've started my trial and entered my billing info.

 

Here's where I get stuck again. When I go to Domains > Manage > Activate Email, I can't move onto the next step because it just says 'There is a problem with your G Suite account. Please visit the Support Center for assistance.'

 

If I try to edit the DNS records via Domain > Manage > Manage Domain, nothing actually happens at all - I can't add, edit or delete anything, it just reverts to the default. The default values to seem to point to Google services, but nothing works.

 

So I can't get any further with connecting my email to my domain! I wonder if there's some weird error because I vaguely began setting up the Google Workspace within Square a few months ago, didn't proceed for whatever reason (I may have gone to check other sorts of email plans), and now my account is stuck in a loop.

Thanks for a detailed description of what you are experiencing. That really helps when escalating to our advanced support teams. 

 

A couple things: 

  1. Your domain is not verified. Can you navigate to your domain registrant contact information and confirm it's correct?
  2. Your Google Workspace service was suspended and removed from our reseller portal. If you want to use Google Workspace, you'll need to activate it directly through Google. 

If you navigate to your domain registrant contact information and it is correct, please let me know so I can let our online team try to manually verify your domain. If it is not correct, please update it and this should force a verification email.

Hi @Summer2024 , thanks for your reply!

 

I can confirm my domain registrant contact information is correct, however I've opened it up and saved it again in case that forces a verification email (nothing yet).

 

I've also attempted to re-register my admin account with Google, and get stuck at the step of proving I own the domain, by linking it via the DNS records, as I can't seem to edit them. Hopefully my domain can be verified manually your end!

Hello All! I am new to this community and did not how to begin a new thread. I am however, experiencing the exact issue! Can anyone guide me either A. How to begin a new thread or B. Why i cannot access my email? My phone broke (primary source of email) and when I tried registering the email on Google it said password was incorrect or that I had to verify it with my old phone (which was not operable!) Now I am paying monthly and cannot access my business emails. I apologize in advance for using someone else's thread- just saw this as being super helpful and hoping someone may guide me in the right direction!
