Bulk Edit question

Hi, I am looking to Bulk Edit items to remove them from certain categories - does anyone know if this is possible.  I know you can bulk edit items to add to a category.  I want to clean up my website but it takes so long to search for an item and then edit categories individually.  Also when you search for a group of items and edit one when you go back you have to search all over again - does anyone know how you could save a group search?

Hey! I’d suggest exporting your item library and manually removing the category next to items you don’t want to fall into a category (this will naturally then belong to an ‘Uncategorised’ category), or add them into another category in bulk (the category needs to exist first before reimporting), then import them back in.

Also don’t delete the token column, or you’ll end up with duplicates!

As Artizansty mentioned, the fastest way to do this would be to export your Item Library, make your edits and then re-upload the file.

And ensure that you have your Square Online Item Sync turned on so that any edits will sync over. 

Square Online Overview page in Items > Item Sync or Shared Settings > Item Sync.
