I'm hoping someone from Square reads this because its giving me so much trouble its ridiculous.
i'm replacing my library. I've downloaded the current one, made the updates etc etc. I originally did it in EXACTLY the same way as the download. Tried to upload but got loads of errors. So I created one from scratch using the download as a template.
I have products with variations - on the download, the variations are all on separate lines. I tried to upload with these and got numerous errors - 100 errors - which seems really common with other users - 'variations mustn't have a token' (even though the download did and they were different tokens!), saying there are duplicates when there are none, errors with lines saying they are variations when they're not even the same product. This is now my second day trying to upload this. I must have tried at least 20 times, probably more. Each time I try to upload I get a different error - none of them correct.
As an examples, its telling me that I have item variations that should have the same name and its giving me the line numbers to change - the lines aren't even the same product!!!
An item and its variations must have the same item name. Update the item names for the following rows: [102 103].

I mean, what the hell is going on??? Its getting beyond a joke now. For two days I've not been able to update my site with the new products, so I've had to take the website down which for a business is NOT good.
Its also really b***dy annoying that for every upload and error, you have to close the upload page, do the amendments and re-upload through the whole process again - why can't all of the errors just come up at once - or at least have a reload button on the upload page, instead of having to come out and go back in again. time consuming and unnecessary
It seems that these issues are really common with library uploads but I haven't seen any solutions - I've re-read the instructions on the help pages and I'm not doing anything wrong.
Does anyone know what on earth is happening as I am literally at my wits end with this now and have wasted several hours trying to just blinkin well upload a spreadsheet.
***update**** got it to upload by basically redoing the whole thing again - BUT I connect to weebly for my website and now weebly is telling me that it can't upload from square because the variation column can't be blank even if there is no variation - plus it won't link the products that are already there. this is a total nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why can't square get weebly to interact with square properly - you own both the products for goodness sake. Absolutely ridiculous. I'm totally starting to regret moving to weebly/ square

In cases like this, we usually suggest running through our troubleshooting steps listed here, and if you are still receiving an error later, you can get in touch with our support team directly.
You would be able to send them a copy of the file via email so that they can try to re-upload the file and reproduce the error. I know that you've managed to get it uploaded now, but in future, this would be the best course of action.
