I would like to report a bug that has been happening for a while now while using the Weebly/Square website builder.
After selecting text and attempting to make changes to the selected text, the changes do not apply correctly in a couple of instances, as follows:
1. Text Color: Entering the text field for the HEX code on the expanded colors popup menu causes the selected text on the page to no longer be selected. This is extremely frustrating and makes it much more difficult to copy/paste HEX codes in order to keep colors on a page consistent or to paste in brand colors.
2. Creating a Link: After pasting the Website URL into the text field and dismissing the popup window by clicking outside of it, the Website URL is pasted directly onto the page rather than creating a link with the selected text.
Both of these bugs significantly reduce the efficiency of my business workflows when updating my website. I hope the developers of the Website Builder will take this issue seriously and resolve it as soon as possible. Thanks.
