We just purchased a replacement contactless chip reader, believing our older model to be dead. The brand new reader won’t pair either! The lights won’t even flicker when you press the button to pair, it’s plugged in and fully charged, and still nothing.

Sorry to hear this is going on with your second reader as well. Are you pairing your Square Reader for contactless and chip to a mobile device, iPad or Square hardware?
