Square Stand Compatibility

I'm looking at getting the Square Stand. The only issue is that it says my iPad is not compatible. I have the iPad Pro 9.7". the ios is updated to 15.6.1

According to specs, Square requires at least ios 14? 

I just want to make sure my iPad would fit before purchasing. I'm not quite ready to buy a new iPad, lol

Hi Hilstylist,

Square has updated quite a bit of their hardware.  It appears that the latest Square Stand is only compatible with 10.2” and 10.5” iPads.  Unfortunately your current iPad won't fit the Stand.   As a possible option, you could still use your iPad without a stand, install the POS App and get a contactless and chip reader which can be connected via bluetooth.

I already have everything set up on my iPad. The issue I'm having is that the chip reader often fails to connect,  and I have to delete it and reconnect it.  It's frustrating when you have customers waiting.
