Arrangement of the items in the main online store

Hi, I have been looking at Google Analytics and the main page that customers land on is my home page. From there, they go to the Shop Online page. This is an uncategorised listing of all of the products. It seems that this is arranged in order which the items have been uploaded. This sounds like a great idea, except that as I am still fledgling, I would like to choose the items that they see first, ie, the most popular products. This is the same as I would like to choose the arrangement of my products on display in a shop window as when I am new, first priority is getting the customer to walk in the door. Here, the first priority is to get them to buy for the first time.

Is there a way to customise the order in which the items appear in this list? I understand quite well how to do this in categories, if there is not any other way to do this then I would probably need to set up a category called ALL GAMES. Let me know if there is a way to customise the general list of products.

Hi, my website has a Browse Categories drop down as well as a Shop All dropdown.  The Shop All category, as you say, seems to have the last item you add to it as first.  My customers can either pick a category from Browse Categories or even in Shop All the categories appear down the left hand side when the click on Shop All.  I dont believe you can sort them into what you want to appear first, because the Items list is in alphabetical order in the edit screen.

Can you, like me put a 'Featured Products' Section....You could call the category "Best Sellers" then add whatever items you want to it.  Then the customer can see it on your main page and can click on Shop Online page if they want to see more....  Hope that makes sense...

Hey @bgantics and @RobbieB,

You can edit how items appear on the "Shop All" page to a degree.

Go to the website editor then go to the Page drop down box at the top of the screen and select Shop All. From here, click the Item List page section then Add and Arrange Items > Custom.

This should allow you to change the default page item order!
