All payments being declined!!!

All payments this morning are being declined from all types of cards and banks?

 

Unable to take payment through contactless, chip and pin and card holder not present.

I have disconnected reader and reconnected, no difference.

 

I have even tried my own card and still declined!! and there is enough money in the account.
Help please, desperately need to take payments.

It’s a nuisance and embarrassing.  I have checked to see if everything is running correctly on square website and they say it is, it’s nice to know, I’m not on my own, where abouts are you based please?

Just when we need business and you cannot contact support!

Somewhere where I logged in, the page had a yellow bar across the top saying system fault, engineers on the case.  I have just been on the page where you can see if everything is running correctly and it reports on there as well there is a fault.  Sorry not into all this techy stuff, beyond me!!

an absolute disgrace its the lack of support and communication, the fact you can't even call them!  I am considering looking at other options now!!!!!  Let's face it we pay enough on transaction costs.....

As a community member who knows the amount of complex code that goes into running square, i would like for you to understand that things can go wrong at anytime for any business, whether using Square, Stripe, Tyll, SumUp, WorldPay, Ideal.... they all fail at some point, understand that square do everything they can to make things run smoothly and updates are being given when they can. Things will improve soon.

We need an alternative. What other card readers can we buy today in preparation for tomorrow. You can buy square readers from Argos. But we need to know where to buy an izettle reader or other company ready in case square Ian working tomorrow

NatWest can send Tyll by next day as far as I'm aware, Square should be online again today though.
