Where did busy mode go?

Just noticed that “busy mode” on the orders screen is no longer an option. Did that go away? My only option now is to pause online orders completely, instead of being able to add some minutes to their prep times. We used this feature a lot at our restaurant. Where did it go?

@amandaemac @ryanwanner So, I'm not at the shop, and can't verify on my tablets, just on my phone.  If I go to the Orders tab on Square POS on my phone (screen shot 1) and click the clock at the top, then click "Websites" (screen shot 2), screen shot 3 comes up.  Busy mode is there.  It seems the engineers have been consolidating lots of stuff -- probably in preparation for things like Neighborhoods and such.

Hello @amandaemac !

 

You're right: I'm not seeing busy mode anymore on my system, either. Odd!

 

I do have the option to add to the prep time, but it's a little buried.

More -> Online from the app. 

If you have any type of status box right under your website name, clear it off. It blocks the settings beneath it.

I have two options listed: Orders On and Prep Time. Tapping on the prep time button gives me the option to add time to the prep time. I'm not entirely certain that it will go back to your original prep time after a certain point, though.

@TheRealChipA  For the save! 

You are correct, busy mode is available on tablets and mobile devices in both regular Point of Sale and Restaurants mode where you said it was. 

A note to the engineers: if us sellers are reaching for the Busy Mode toggle, it’s because we’re… well… BUSY. Please don’t bury it in a setting where we have to remember where it is! 🫠

Aaah thank you!! In my panic during a busy rush I didn’t clock any further past the first “pause order” screen. Yes, found it, Glad to know it’s still there, appreciate everyone’s help!!
