Turn Off Preorder

I noticed that Preorder descriptions are showing by default on our website. How do you edit this feature? How do you hide this text/turn off this feature? My site is not using this right now, and now my customers are confused with how they can preorder my items.

Hey @TiffanyNR,

 

I recently had another seller ask the same thing and I ended up finding out with Weebly that it's just a change of wording if you have scheduled pick-ups turned on.

 

We still don't actually offer a pre-order option so the wording is confusing for sure to some customers but it just means you offer scheduled pick-ups.

 

Unfortunately there's not a way to remove this wording at this time but I can pass your feedback along about it being confusing for your customers as well.

Hi yes, please pass this along as the wording "preorder" is confusing my customers. When customers add an item to the basket, they are already directed to choose pickup or shipping as an option, so this wording is not necessary.

 

Also, "preorder" and "pickup" are not synonymous, thank you!
