I just paid for a website to be built, it’s been very frustrating. The site is almost ready to go live, but the specials we have don‘t work at all. For example, we offer 2 large pizzas with 3 items each for $34.99, but it charges extra for every item chosen. Why can‘t there be an easy option to choose 3 items? Once they choose 3, then it would charge extra for a fourth item???? Does not seem like this should be so difficult...
@Rhaukeman33 The way I do it would be like this:
2 for 34.99
Variation Price 28.99
Pizza Toppings #1
Pepperoni 1.00 (Preselected)
Sausage 1.00 (Preselected)
Onions 1.00 (Preselected)
Green Peppers 1.00
Olives 1.00
Extra Cheese 1.00
Ground Beef 1.00
Pizza Toppings #2
Pepperoni 1.00 (Preselected)
Sausage 1.00 (Preselected)
Onions 1.00 (Preselected)
Green Peppers 1.00
Olives 1.00
Extra Cheese 1.00
Ground Beef 1.00
Now you can require 3 toppings to make the price always be 34.99 or allow them to reduce the price by choosing less toppings. You can make modifiers to be Extra Pepperoni 2.00, etc. or just do one set and both pizzas are the same.
Here is how I have a special set up:
https://www.orderupcafe.com/product/wednesday-spaghetti-meatballs-ouc/607?cs=true&cst=custom
The way you do this is after you set up the modifier and then the item you will "Customize" the modifier to select min/max selections and preselected options.
Doesn‘t seem very user friendly if that‘s how I need to set it up with my online store. Ive been wanting to switch to square for all my pos needs, but if the online store is this difficult to manage, I can‘t imagine using square for my full time pos...
There has to be a better way.
