Does anyone know if square or any partner apps work have a self service kiosk app that also prints numbers for customer and displays number on the collection screen?

Nope. 

In the UK there are very few that integrate with Square and none that offer that functionality. 

I've looked at a few that are totally unrelated to Square and I think there was one that had a customer facing screen (based on name not number) but that was some serious money and designed for 10 locations +. 

Flash order does have the option to send SMS but never actually got any of that working. To be honest I never got any of it working very well. 

I just use QR code ordering and send the SMS to them when it's (nearly) ready. That would be my suggestion, along with waiting a bit.

How do you set that up do you have the QR code on every table?

I use the same QR and the instructions just say to collect your order - so they have to come back to me to collect when the order is ready.

It would be good if Square could also make an app for a iPad or Android with collection numbers for the kiosk, fingers crossed.
