Modifier Option Works For All But One Item

So I run a beer bar, and each draft beer item is labeled and connected to a modifier; $6 Pint Modifier, $7 Pint Modifier, etc. However, one item, even after deleting it and adding it new, still won't add the modifier when adding to a tab. I have to go in to modify the item to see the modifier options. All other items pull up the modifier automatically. Any ideas?

@StumptownGraham make sure you don't have "automatically add item to check" checked on the item first.  Then there is a modifier progression that can get a little strange.

If you have the modifier as customer can only choose and you preselect the first one I think it will go straight to the ticket and you don't get to choose.
