(Known Issue): Split Payments Failing

The title of this thread has been edited by a Square Moderator from the original: "Payments failing when combined with gift certificates"

 

The past two nights we have had payments failed when splitting between gift certificates and then charging the remainder on a credit card.  The card processes and prints a receipt for the customer to sign, but then at the end of the transaction it fails.  We have tried it multiple times and nothing works.  I can pay the remaining balance as cash, but not a card.  I have run the card in a separate transaction that does not include the gift certificate and it goes through fine.  Any thoughts?  This and an additional issue are making me question sticking with square.

This is also a known issue, and a fix has been released in app version 6.69. Could you please check to make sure your device is on this version of the app?

This is also a known issue, and a fix has been released in app version 6.69. Could you please check to make sure your device is on this version of the app?
