Has anyone been having troubles with the inventory?
I've been importing items via excel template, says it has 100% complete uploaded.
Yet items are being removed, stock quantities are being removed.
As well as mixing the descriptions up between items.
On Monday half the reporting categories had disappeared.
I'd love to know how to stop this, we currently only have approx 1500 items, but growing.

I have a few questions for you to get troubleshooting started:
If this issue is occurring on your Square Online site, could you please try these few troubleshooting steps too, please?:
1. Go to Account & Settings > My Business > Locations. Is the location type Mobile?
2. From Account & Settings > My Business > Locations, does every location have business hours, an email, and a phone number?
3. From Account & Settings > My Business > Locations, copy each location address into this Address Validation Tool.
4. Go to Online > Settings > General. Is the Store Information completely filled in?
5. Go to Items > Item Library. Are there two or more items with the same name?
6. Go to Items > Categories. Are there two or more items with the same name?
Typically when these steps are all double-checked, syncing issues are usually resolved. Please let me know the questions above and once you have run through those steps and I can go from there.

We are not selling online. We are using the database for our in store shop only.
Yesterday I had a reporting category that was working and today it doesn't exist.
There must be a way to stop this from happening, as it is causing issues and making additional admin work.

When you have a moment, could you please provide an example of an item or two, or a category, in your system that is being impacted?
Today we have had 'Shelley G Felt Creations' reporting category disappear.
Previously, 'Tiddly Stars' 'Paintbox Creations' 'A&M Potters' 'Sarah Wales Glass' and 'Botanic Muse' reporting categories all disappeared.
Our 'Stylecraft' category had a few items listed under it that were not yarn, but were jewellery, cards, frames etc.
The descriptions are being altered too.
This doesn't seem to be an isolated day, as it has happened multiple times now.

Just to make sure I have the issue fully understood, are the categories themselves disappearing in your system, or is it just the category disappearing on your reports? Or both?
The reporting category is disappearing from the system. So when I look at reports of sales, it shows items sold as uncategorised, although items have been given a reporting category.
That is very odd. I am going to get this escalated to our Engineers team shortly to take a look.
Another quick question, what device or devices are you using?
